I’d been wanting to try out a couple of films I hadn’t used before (Cinestill 800 and Fuji Natura 1600), so I touched base with the beautiful Amy Everard to organise a nighttime shoot.
Natura is a wonderful film, exceptionally low grain for an ISO 1600, and wonderful skin tones. So of course, Fuji has recently discontinued it.
Cinestill 800 is a bit different; it has a bit of a Bladerunner feel to it, and skin tones probably aren’t its strongest point. It does suck in the light though, and its pretty difficult to underexpose and not get a photo you can work with.
